The Survey was conducted from 27 July 2020 – 13 August 2020 to assist the PEMUDAH to investigate on time taken in “Preparation, Filing and Payment” for labour taxes among member companies to improve selected Government agencies service delivery. The survey revealed that:
36.9% of the respondent companies took 10 - 30 minutes to prepare and submit deduction to Income Tax or LHDN, 37.9% of the respondent companies took 10 - 30 minutes to prepare and submit deduction to EPF, 36.4% the respondent companies took 10 - 30 minutes to prepare and submit deduction for SOCSO, 36.9% of the respondent companies took less than 10 minutes to prepare and submit deduction for EIS, 47.9% of the respondent companies took less than 10 minutes to prepare and submit deduction for HRDF.
80.6% of the respondent companies indicated that they used Bank Portal to pay for the monthly submission of EPF/ SOCSO/ EIS/ HRDF, 28.4% of the respondent companies used Agency Portal to make payment for the monthly submission of EPF/ SOCSO/ EIS/ HRDF and 9.0% of the respondent companies used Other channels such as JomPay and payroll system which linked directly to the statutory website.
