​ISO has published the above Guidance Standards in November 2010, for a 3 years trial period. It will be subjected to a review later this year.

ISO 26000 was developed under a multi stakeholders approach lead by ISO and in collaboration with a multitude of UN Agencies such as UN ILO, UN Global Compact as well as other NGOs, Consumer Organisations and private sector initiatives.
